WUKF European Karate Championships Success – Pruszków, Warsaw
The WUKF European Karate Championships came to an inspiring conclusion, following five days of intense competition in Pruszków (Warsaw).
The event, held from the 9th to the 13th of October, saw 1,725 athletes from 25 countries showcase their passion for Karate, marking one of the most successful European Championships in WUKF history.
Key Highlights:
• A record-breaking European Championships participation of 1725 athletes from 25 countries.
• Spectacular performances in both Kata and Kumite categories, with categories for children, cadets, seniors, veterans and inclusive athletes.
• The event was fully supported by the Polish Ministry of Sport & Tourism.
WUKF President, Dr. Liviu Crisan, expressed his gratitude to the athletes, coaches, officials, and volunteers who contributed to the success of the event: “This championship has truly been a celebration of Karate for all. The dedication of our athletes, supporters and officials have made this a memorable competition. Congratulations to Jacek Chalupka and his team for a tremendous competition. We are proud to see the WUKF family continue to grow and flourish across Europe.”
The event also provided an opportunity for athletes and officials to celebrate Karate for all and further promote the values of discipline, respect, and friendship.
As the curtain fell on another successful WUKF European Karate Championship, attention now turns to the next major event on the WUKF calendar—the 2025 World Karate Championships, which will take place in Malmö, Sweden.
