WUKF World Karate Championships – Monterrey, Mexico
The 12th WUKF (World Union of Karate-Do Federations) World Championships took place from July 11th to 14th, 2024, in Monterrey, Mexico. Over four days, we welcomed 1270 athletes from 23 countries in Kata, Kumite and Kobudo competition.
The event received strong civic support and we were pleased to welcome Melody Falco Díaz from the Office of the General Directorate of the State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports, reflecting the importance of this international event to the region.
The championships were organised by the Federación Nacional de Artes Marciales Japonesas, led by President Mr. Rolando Sias, whose leadership ensured the event’s smooth success.
Thanks to the federation’s efforts and the hard work of volunteers, the 12th WUKF World Championships were a resounding success, building stronger connections in the global karate community.
